CSG Talent is partnered with an emerging aerospace company developing and operating large autonomous hybrid eVTOL aircraft focused on mid-mile cargo logistics. The platform is designed as a true dual-use system, actively supporting commercial healthcare logistics operations while pursuing structured U.S. Department of Defense programs.

With commercial traction underway and multi-year defense opportunities being developed, we are hiring a Business Development Manager to support pipeline growth across both markets.

This is a hands-on, externally facing revenue role responsible for identifying, shaping, and maturing opportunities through the full lifecycle, from early engagement and requirement development through contract award. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership and engineering teams to align customer requirements with platform capability and long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and mature relationships with Air Force, Army, and other DoD stakeholders

  • Support and lead capture activities from RFI, RFP, proposal to award

  • Identify and pursue dual-use opportunities across defense and commercial logistics sectors

  • Shape early customer requirements ahead of formal solicitations

  • Manage multi-year opportunity pipelines (3-5 year sales cycles)

  • Negotiate commercial cargo partnerships in healthcare and expedited logistics

  • Communicate regulatory and operational considerations, including FAA integration pathways

  • Provide regular pipeline updates and revenue forecasting to leadership

Required Skills:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in aerospace or defense business development

  • Direct exposure to DoD contracting processes

  • Experience supporting or leading capture strategy

  • Background in UAV, UAS, ISR, autonomous aircraft, or military aviation strongly preferred

  • Strong communication skills and comfort operating in a growth-stage environment
