An established commercial glazing and building-envelope contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Charlotte team. The company delivers complex commercial glazing and façade projects across the Southeast, working with leading general contractors, developers, architects, and owners.

The Senior Project Manager will take overall responsibility for projects from contract award through completion, overseeing project financials, scheduling, procurement, coordination, and client relationships. This position is suited to an experienced glazing professional who can independently manage large and technically complex projects while providing leadership and guidance to project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial glazing and façade projects from award through final completion.
• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, costs, and profitability.
• Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Lead coordination with general contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Oversee submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, material procurement, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor fabrication and installation schedules and proactively address potential delays.
• Identify scope gaps, project risks, and opportunities for additional work.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and construction partners.
• Coordinate closely with estimating and operations during project handoff.
• Provide direction and support to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project coordinators where required.
• Monitor project financial performance and forecasting.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial glazing, curtain wall, façade, or building-envelope project management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, entrances, architectural glass, and related façade systems.
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with major general contractors and commercial construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead project teams effectively.
