Glazing Project Executive

The Opportunity

A well-established and growing commercial exterior contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to join its expanding glass division in the Baltimore market.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced commercial glazing professional who can provide leadership across a portfolio of projects while supporting Project Managers, strengthening client relationships, and driving financial and operational performance.

The Project Executive will play a key role in overseeing projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with project management, estimating, field operations, general contractors, owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight and leadership across multiple commercial glazing projects.
• Manage project performance from contract award through completion and closeout.
• Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and project teams.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, change orders, and financial performance.
• Monitor project profitability, forecasting, cost control, and overall project health.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Support preconstruction activities including scope review, budgeting, constructability, and project planning.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to cost, schedule, contractual, and operational challenges.
• Review and negotiate change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Work closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure a successful transition from awarded work into project execution.
• Ensure projects are appropriately staffed and that project teams have the necessary resources to deliver successfully.
• Monitor project schedules and address potential delays before they impact delivery.
• Represent the company in key client and project meetings.
• Establish and improve project management processes and best practices.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the glass division.

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years of experience within commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, architectural glass, or building envelope construction.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple commercial glazing projects.
• Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Operations Manager, or similar senior-level construction professional.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, storefront, entrances, windows, and architectural glass.
• Strong understanding of project financials, budgets, contracts, scheduling, procurement, and change management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop project management teams.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Experience working directly with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness with the ability to identify and mitigate project risk.
• Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar is preferred.
