Field Technician - GSS

CSG Talent are working exclusively with a leading mineral exploration technology company who are expanding into Saudi Arabia on a Joint Venture on a new exploration project.

We're looking for a Junior Geophysical Solutions Specialist to support the delivery of geophysical surveys in Saudi Arabia. This role suits someone with a strong technical or IT background who enjoys problem-solving and supporting field teams.

You'll work closely with operations teams, technical specialists, and clients to help set up surveys, support field deployments remotely, monitor incoming data, and resolve technical issues as they arise. No prior geophysics experience is required - full training will be provided.

Please note - this role is only open to Saudi Nationals.

Responsibilites

• Support the setup of geophysical surveys and technical systems

• Help prepare survey files, maps, and basic GIS outputs

• Assist with system configuration, subscriptions, and device setup

• Provide remote technical support to field teams during deployment

• Monitor incoming data and flag technical or quality issues

• Support clients with system usage and basic technical questions

• Help with survey close-out, reporting, and data handover

Experience

• Background in IT, technical support, engineering, science, or a related field

• Comfortable working with software, systems, and data

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and geophysical concepts

• Clear communicator with a helpful, customer-focused mindset

• Exposure to GIS tools (e.g. QGIS)

• Experience supporting field teams or remote operations

• Interest in geoscience, exploration, or sensor-based technologies
