We are partnering with a growing mineral exploration company advancing one of the world's largest undeveloped copper deposits, located in Argentina. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead all geological activities across a district-scale land position, drive new discoveries, and communicate the project's story to global capital markets.

This is a discovery role. The project's extensive mineral rights host multiple identified porphyry targets awaiting systematic exploration, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to build their professional legacy through resource expansion and greenfield discoveries while leading a team of 10+ geologists.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will lead and deliver geological strategy across the full project lifecycle, from target generation through to resource definition. You will also play a central role in capital markets communication, technical leadership, and the ongoing development of the exploration team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead brownfield expansion and greenfield discovery programs across the district
• Develop integrated exploration strategies using geological, geochemical, and geophysical data
• Drive resource growth aligned with corporate objectives and capital markets milestones
• Integrate AI and emerging technologies to enhance target generation and operational efficiency
• Supervise all geological activities; direct team leaders and 10+ permanent geologists
• Oversee 3D geological modeling, QA/QC protocols, and data interpretation
• Analyse drill results to inform exploration projections and resource estimates
• Author press releases announcing exploration results and resource updates
• Prepare and deliver presentations to the Board of Directors and investors
• Translate geological value into compelling narratives for stakeholders

About You

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Geological Sciences
• QP designation (NI 43-101 or equivalent) highly valued
• 8+ years' experience in copper porphyry geology with a track record of exploration leadership
• Team leadership and mentoring experience
• Argentine nationality (required)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in 3D modelling (required), ArcGIS, and other mining software
• Strong capital markets understanding, with the ability to write technical press releases
• Interest in applying AI/ML to geological analysis

Personal Attributes

• Advanced/bilingual English (required) - fluent communication with international investors and the Board
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for discovery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
