  • Up to €250000 per annum
  • Kamloops, British Columbia
  • Battery Materials

CSG Talent is partnering with an emerging critical minerals developer entering a pivotal phase of growth as it progresses towards commercial production.

The business has already established a strong pipeline of strategic commercial opportunities and is now seeking an experienced commercial executive who can take those conversations through to signed agreements.

This is not a role focused on generating leads. It's about closing deals.

We're looking for someone with a proven track record of negotiating and executing complex commercial agreements, building long-term strategic partnerships, and converting opportunities into tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's commercial and business development activities.
  • Progress existing strategic discussions through to executed commercial agreements.
  • Structure and negotiate complex commercial arrangements with customers, strategic partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop longterm partnerships that support project financing and commercial growth.
  • Manage high value commercial negotiations from initial engagement through to execution.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to shape commercial strategy and market positioning.
  • Represent the business with customers, partners and investors globally.

About You

You will have:

  • 15+ years' commercial leadership experience within mining, critical minerals, battery materials, industrial technology, chemicals or related sectors.
  • A demonstrated track record of closing complex commercial transactions, rather than simply generating opportunities.
  • Experience negotiating LOIs, MOUs, strategic partnership agreements, offtake agreements, term sheets, licensing agreements or similar commercial contracts.
  • Experience managing executive level negotiations with customers, Automotive OEMs, investors, trading houses or strategic partners.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to navigate complex, multi stakeholder negotiations.
  • The credibility to operate as a senior representative of the business with global customers and partners.

Why This Opportunity?

You'll join an executive leadership team at a defining point in the company's growth, taking ownership of a live commercial pipeline with the opportunity to convert strategic discussions into long-term partnerships that will directly influence the future of the business.

If you have a reputation for getting deals across the line and are looking for an opportunity where your commercial impact will be immediately visible, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
