Electrical / Magnetics Engineer (Advanced Systems)

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical / Magnetics Engineer to join an advanced engineering program focused on next-generation space and aerospace systems. This is a full-time, on-site role suited to an engineer with strong hands-on experience across complex electrical and avionics environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of magnetics-related control strategies and ensure compliance with specialized environmental requirements
  • Develop and execute EMI/EMC and related control plans, including environmental testing
  • Design, integrate, and test electrical interfaces, including PCB and harness design
  • Support development of avionics subsystems and system-level test environments
  • Execute electrical integration procedures and system-level validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical subsystems
  • Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace and industry standards and document design/test outcomes
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace, space systems, or similar high-reliability environments
  • Experience with magnetics, EMI/EMC, and shielding design
  • Strong PCB debugging skills and familiarity with lab tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
  • Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle or similar)
  • Familiarity with industry-standard engineering and test frameworks
  • Experience working in controlled environments with strict handling protocols
