I'm working with a well-established MEP consultancy that is continuing to expand its presence across the Los Angeles market, with a strong pipeline of work across Education, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Science & Technology sectors.
They are looking to appoint a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) with 5+ years of experience to support the delivery of technically complex projects, working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
This is a strong opportunity to take ownership of project work, gain exposure to complex facilities, and work closely with experienced leadership as the team continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical designs from concept through construction documentation
- Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting systems, panel schedules, and single-line diagrams
- Produce and review coordinated drawing packages and technical specifications
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to deliver integrated solutions
- Review submittals and support construction-phase activities including RFIs and site visits
- Contribute to project delivery, coordination, and meeting key milestones
What they're looking for:
- Licensed Professional Engineer in CA (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- 5+ years of experience within an MEP or A/E consultancy environment
- Experience across Education, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or complex commercial projects preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and electrical building systems design
- Familiar with NEC, Title 24, and California design requirements
- Experience with OSHPD/HCAI projects is highly desirable
