Electrical Engineer

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to the development of advanced electronic systems for critical national security applications used in complex technology platforms. This role involves designing, testing, and integrating electrical hardware while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical circuits, schematics, and hardware systems
  • Create and manage PCB layouts while considering signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal constraints
  • Integrate electrical components with mechanical and software subsystems
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic hardware
  • Analyze and resolve hardware issues through systematic debugging and failure analysis
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
  • Support prototype builds and assist with system-level integration activities
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Professional experience in electronic hardware design or embedded systems engineering
  • Experience with circuit design and PCB development tools (such as Altium, KiCad, or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
  • Basic knowledge of embedded programming languages (C or C++) is beneficial
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment
