Director of Sales - Industrial Equipment
Location: United States (Remote)
Compensation: $140K-$210K base + bonus + executive benefits
A global manufacturer of engineered industrial equipment and components is seeking a Director of Sales to lead strategic growth across key North American OEM customers.
This leadership role focuses on expanding revenue within existing strategic OEM accounts, strengthening long-term partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team responsible for complex industrial solutions.
The business supplies precision-engineered technologies used across industrial manufacturing, process industries, and specialized equipment markets, partnering closely with leading OEMs to integrate their solutions into mission-critical systems.
As Director of OEM Sales, you will own the commercial strategy for a portfolio of key OEM customers and drive growth through share-of-wallet expansion, long-term agreements, and strategic account development.
You will work closely with engineering, product management, and operations to ensure customer solutions align with evolving OEM requirements while building strong executive-level relationships with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing a strategic OEM sales growth plan
Expanding revenue within existing strategic OEM accounts
Leading contract negotiations and long-term commercial agreements
Driving multi-million-dollar sales opportunities and partnerships
Building deep relationships with OEM executives, engineering teams, and procurement leaders
Collaborating cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and operations
Monitoring market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback
Leading and developing a team of Key Account Managers
Managing forecasting, budgeting, and commercial performance metrics
10+ years of progressive B2B sales leadership experience in industrial manufacturing
Strong experience working with OEM customers and complex supply chains
Proven success managing large strategic accounts and long sales cycles
Track record negotiating high-value commercial agreements
Experience leading and developing sales teams
Strong commercial acumen including pricing strategy, forecasting, and P&L awareness
Ability to operate effectively in a remote, strategic leadership role
