Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Hybrid, Texas
Employment: Permanent or initial six-month contract

The opportunity

Curently looking for an experienced, software-focused DevOps Engineer. You will work closely with software developers to improve application build, testing, release, and deployment processes.

The organization operates across cloud and on-premises environments, with Microsoft Azure as its current priority.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate software builds, testing, releases, and deployments
• Support cloud-hosted and on-premises applications
• Manage containers and virtualized environments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code
• Develop automation using Python or Go
• Integrate security and vulnerability testing into delivery pipelines
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Produce testing, vulnerability, dependency, and observability reports
• Collaborate with software engineering and infrastructure teams

Required experience

• 7+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, or related experience
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
• CI/CD pipeline development and management
• Software-development and deployment processes
• Python or Go scripting
• Containers and Infrastructure as Code
• Systems administration and troubleshooting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience supporting regulated or mission-critical systems
