Design Manager - Data Centres

Our client is a global leader in the technical engineering and infrastructure who deliver some of Europe's most advanced mission critical data center projects. They are currently looking for an experienced Design manager to join their growing data center team in Paris.

The role

You will lead the design and technical coordination of large scale data center projects from pre construction through to delivery. As a technical lead, you will work closely with both clients and consultants engineering team and commercial stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multidisciplinary design teams across all technical disciplines.
• Coordinate design and development from concept through to construction.
• Support bids, tenders and preconstruction activities.
• Review technical solutions and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and design deliverables
• Act as the key technical contact for clients and project stakeholders.

What they are looking for

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• 10+ years experience in construction, engineering or design management.
• Experience delivering complex building or mission critical projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised proactive and confident leading multidisciplinary teams.
