CSG Talent are partnering with an emerging mining technology company entering a significant scale-up phase following recent investment and growing global customer traction.
The business operates at the intersection of mining, AI, data, and industrial technology, delivering advanced solutions that enable mining companies to improve operational performance, planning, and decision-making across the mining value chain.
With strong technical foundations already established, the company is now seeking a commercially focused CEO to lead the next stage of growth.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an executive who combines strategic thinking with operational execution and has experience scaling technology-led businesses in complex industrial markets.
The ideal candidate will be based in Finland, with international travel.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will lead overall company strategy and execution, with particular emphasis on commercial growth, partnerships, organisational scaling, investor readiness, and operational leadership.
Working closely with the technical leadership team, the successful candidate will help build the structure, cadence, and commercial engine required to scale internationally while maintaining a strong customer-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading the Board, executive leadership team, and selected advisors to refine and further develop the company vision and culture, overall growth strategy, and products and services strategies
- Owning company strategy and execution cadence, translating priorities into measurable outcomes and accountable routines
- Building and developing a high-performing executive leadership team and scalable organisational capability aligned to the company's growth objectives
- Leading high-value, data to AI-enabled recurring revenue growth across enterprise customers with delivery partners, from pipeline creation through negotiation and closing to products and services delivery excellence
- Defining and executing the commercial strategy, including segmentation, business model, packaging, and route to market
- Building and leading the go-to-market organization, including hiring and managing business development, sales operations, and marketing leadership and teams
- Developing strategic partnerships with laboratories, OEMs, and mining groups to accelerate adoption and scale delivery
Ideal candidate profile:
- Experience leading and scaling technology-led businesses in mining, industrial technology, automation, analytics, AI, or adjacent sectors
- Strong commercial leadership capability within complex B2B enterprise environments
- A track record of building go-to-market functions and delivering revenue growth
- Experience managing strategic partnerships and multi-stakeholder customer environments
- Strong financial and operational acumen within growth-stage businesses
- Experience working with boards, investors, and executive leadership teams
- The ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, high-growth environments with limited structure
