Chief Engineer (Oregon + California)

CSG Talent are partnering with an employee-owned, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions to municipalities across the West Coast. They are value-driven and looking to identify a Chief Engineer to oversee their entire technical practice.

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for:

• Providing technical direction and quality oversight for water and wastewater treatment and reuse projects.

• Serve as Engineer-of-Record for complex municipal infrastructure projects.

• Mentor and elevate the capabilities of staff members around them

• Act as a senior technical advisor to municipal clients.

• Support pursuits, proposals, and interviews for major infrastructure programs.

The ideal person:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California and/or Oregon (ability to obtain reciprocity required).

• 15+ years of progressive experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale treatment plant and conveyance projects.

• Strong working knowledge of California and Oregon regulatory environments.

• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
