We are supporting a leading international brand within the smart technology sector in the search for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across their European dealer network.
This is a field-based commercial role focused on developing and expanding sales through distributors and specialist dealer partners. The position combines account management, new partner acquisition, and hands-on commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of distributors and dealer partners
Identify and onboard new partners to expand market coverage
Drive sell-in and sell-out through structured action plans
Deliver product training and support local marketing initiatives
Negotiate commercial agreements within company guidelines
Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and profitability
Gather market and competitor intelligence
The ideal profile:
3-7+ years' experience in dealer/distributor-based sales
Background in technical products (e.g. outdoor equipment, machinery, tools, consumer durables, or similar)
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
Commercially driven with a structured approach
