We are supporting a leading international brand within the smart technology sector in the search for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across their European dealer network.

This is a field-based commercial role focused on developing and expanding sales through distributors and specialist dealer partners. The position combines account management, new partner acquisition, and hands-on commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of distributors and dealer partners

  • Identify and onboard new partners to expand market coverage

  • Drive sell-in and sell-out through structured action plans

  • Deliver product training and support local marketing initiatives

  • Negotiate commercial agreements within company guidelines

  • Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and profitability

  • Gather market and competitor intelligence

The ideal profile:

  • 3-7+ years' experience in dealer/distributor-based sales

  • Background in technical products (e.g. outdoor equipment, machinery, tools, consumer durables, or similar)

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment

  • Commercially driven with a structured approach
