About the Opportunity
A growing, privately held company within the food and beverage sector is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and strategic account growth. This is a high-impact, hunter-focused role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with mid-sized and large CPG companies.
This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building long-term client partnerships in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across food and beverage markets
* Develop and execute territory growth strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
* Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to generate leads
* Present solutions to cross-functional and executive-level decision-makers
* Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
* Collaborate internally to support customer projects and long-term partnerships
* Maintain consistent communication with accounts to drive ongoing growth

Qualifications
* Minimum 4+ years of outside sales experience, preferably within food & beverage or related CPG industries
* Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
* Experience presenting to senior-level stakeholders
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities while traveling extensively
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office or related business software
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
