NEW ROLE: Business Development Manager - Hi-Tech Precision Contract Manufacturing
Location: Remote (USA)



CSG Talent are partnered with a rapidly growing high precision contract manufacturer on Business Development Manager opening for their Hi-Tech Industrial Business Unit. As the BD Manager, you will deliver high-precision engineered components, complex assemblies, and value-added manufacturing solutions to customers operating in high-technology markets. You will expand our clients footprint in semiconductor, electronics, and advanced technology markets by developing strong customer relationships, aligning technical capabilities to application requirements, and securing long-term program awards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new OEMs and manufacturers within semiconductor, electronics, and advanced technology markets.
  • Execute full sales lifecycle activities including prospecting, opportunity qualification, RFQ coordination, pricing strategy, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new program opportunities aligned to annual bookings and revenue targets.
  • Develop account penetration strategies to increase content within key technology platforms.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth segments including semiconductor capital equipment, robotics, AI-enabled hardware, power electronics, and high-performance instrumentation.
  • Understand industry trends such as miniaturization, materials innovation, thermal management, and precision tolerancing requirements.
  • Align manufacturing capabilities to evolving high-tech customer demands.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and opportunity pipelines.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development or technical sales experience in semiconductor, electronics, industrial, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Experience selling in contract manufacturer to OEM customers.
  • Strong understanding of high-tolerance manufacturing and complex material requirements.
  • Proven ability to close technically complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
