About the Opportunity
CSG Talent are exclusively supporting a global leader in mining contractor compliance and supply chain risk management software to grow their commercial teams across Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading organisation that provides innovative software and compliance solutions to some of the world's largest organisations across the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors.
This is a true hunter role, focused on winning new clients and managing the full sales lifecycle. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging senior decision-makers, delivering tailored solution demonstrations and closing complex enterprise sales while working closely with internal technical and commercial teams.
This role is open to candidates based in Sudbury, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to generate new business opportunities across key industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, outbound sales activity and strategic account development.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through discovery, solution presentation, proposal development, negotiation and contract close.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer challenges and position value-driven software solutions.
- Build relationships with operational, HSE, procurement and executive stakeholders within target organisations.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and develop compelling business cases that clearly demonstrate return on investment.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting through CRM while ensuring a disciplined sales approach.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements, providing valuable feedback to internal product and leadership teams.
- Collaborate closely with business development, technical and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
About You
- Minimum three years' experience in full-cycle B2B business development with a proven record of exceeding new business sales targets.
- Experience selling software, SaaS or technology solutions into industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities or Manufacturing.
- Strong consultative sales skills with experience managing complex and multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- Knowledge of structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, BANT, Challenger or similar.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- Commercially driven with a proactive, resilient approach to developing new business.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecasting and customer engagement.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
