Associate Marketing Manager - Belgium

About the Opportunity

A leading MedTech company is seeking an experienced marketing professional to drive commercial and customer engagement initiatives across the Belgian market. Working as part of the Benelux marketing team, you will be responsible for translating regional business objectives into impactful local activities that support healthcare professionals, patients, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with regional marketing leadership to develop and implement annual marketing plans tailored to the Belgian market.
  • Identify local market opportunities and ensure marketing activities align with broader Benelux and European business objectives.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations based on customer feedback, competitive activity, and healthcare trends.

Campaign Delivery & Customer Engagement

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated marketing initiatives across digital, in-person, and hybrid channels.
  • Adapt global and regional campaigns to ensure relevance for local audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Create engaging customer journeys for both healthcare professionals and end users.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with commercial, clinical, regulatory, and compliance teams to ensure all marketing activities meet local requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support successful campaign execution and product adoption.
  • Act as the primary marketing contact for Belgium within the wider Benelux organisation.

Agency & Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and event partners.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, content, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Performance & Optimisation

  • Track campaign effectiveness through relevant metrics and reporting.
  • Analyse customer engagement and market performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement optimisation strategies to maximise marketing impact.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5-8 years of experience in marketing, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Proven experience delivering both professional (B2B/HCP) and consumer-focused marketing initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns from concept through execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within matrix organisations and international teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign and customer data.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent Dutch and French.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
