About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team and oversee the successful delivery of architectural glass and glazing projects from contract award through completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager with experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, architectural glass, and façade systems who can manage multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage architectural glass and glazing projects from pre-construction through final completion.
  • Review contracts, plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with estimating, engineering, drafting, fabrication, field installation, and project teams.
  • Manage project budgets, costs, change orders, billing, and overall profitability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Work closely with General Contractors, architects, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and potential conflicts proactively.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate material procurement and fabrication to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor field progress and coordinate installation activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within architectural glass, glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or façade construction.
  • Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems and construction processes.
  • Experience managing projects with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and change orders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant construction/project management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
