Position Title: Account Manager - Private Brands & Contract Manufacturing
Location: United States, Remote


About the Opportunity

A global food manufacturer specializing in international cuisines is expanding its U.S. Private Label and Contract Manufacturing business. The company partners with retailers, consumer brands, restaurant groups, and foodservice operators to deliver high-quality, globally inspired food products.

We are seeking a relationship-focused Account Manager to drive customer satisfaction, support new business development, and ensure seamless coordination between U.S. customers and international manufacturing teams.


Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership & Growth

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned private label and contract manufacturing accounts

  • Manage accounts from onboarding through ongoing relationship development

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing customers and support new business conversion

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong partnerships with retail buyers and cross-functional customer teams

  • Lead regular business reviews, performance updates, and forecasting discussions

  • Respond to commercial, operational, and technical inquiries in a timely manner

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Oversee product launches and commercialization projects from concept through production

  • Coordinate formulation updates, cost revisions, packaging specifications, artwork approvals, and production timelines

  • Ensure smooth export coordination, documentation, and post-shipment follow-up

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams overseas to align on timelines and deliverables

  • Work with marketing to support sales materials and product presentations

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Support pricing strategy, cost analysis, and minimum order quantities

  • Monitor margins, trade spend, and account profitability

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting


Qualifications

  • Experience managing Private Label and/or Contract Manufacturing accounts within food or beverage manufacturing

  • Direct exposure to retail customers and understanding of category management, QA, and product development processes

  • Knowledge of food manufacturing operations, packaging formats, and commercialization timelines

  • Experience working with pricing structures, costing models, and margin management

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to work with global teams

  • Background in food & beverage, CPG, or related industries preferred
