Fixfast is a specialist global manufacturer and supplier of key building components for roofing and walls of commercial, industrial and large residential buildings. Fixfast has become one of the most respected and leading businesses in the market.

Fixfast are dedicated to designing innovative products for the building envelope and have highly efficient and effective processes in place to ensure they deliver the highest quality across all areas.

With only a small candidate database to hand, Fixfast struggled to recruit internally. Like many others in their position, they did not have the resources or the time to conduct thorough recruitment campaigns and standard job boards were failing to attract the calibre of candidate needed to fill their more senior roles.

Working with CSG Talent

CSG Talent met with the CEO of Fixfast, and after a short discussion, our consultant was able to recommend a candidate from our network for their open Specification Sales Manager role. After passing on their details, this candidate went on to be hired by the company.

Following this success, Fixfast later approached CSG with their Head of Engineering vacancy. With a much larger candidate talent pool, and years of experience conducting bespoke recruitment campaigns, CSG had the expertise needed to find candidates with the correct level of skill and experience.

In a fully retained assignment, our consultant carried out exhaustive networking and numerous internal interviews, before putting forward five candidates. These were screened to ensure they possessed the necessary level of sector experience, and a personality which would mean they would be a strong culture fit within the business. Fixfast went on to hire one of these candidates.

Throughout this process, our consultant remained in close contact with Fixfast’s CEO, ensuring the company was kept informed throughout the whole process.

Ongoing Success

The team at CSG Talent have continued to work in partnership with Fixfast, enjoying a productive working relationship, sourcing specialist talent to spearhead the business's ambitious growth plans. Our consultant has since placed Fixfast’s Head of Marketing, and is currently working on filling another board level position.

We haven't used many recruiters here at Fixfast, but we did use CSG's recruiter as he isn't too pushy, he took the time to visit us to establish what type of business we are and really wanted to help move our business forward.
