With over 20 years of experience in the executive search industry Chris started his career as a retained head-hunter. It was within the recruitment industry that he found a passion for training and, as a result, made the move into learning and development.

He took on the role of Group Training & Client Services Director for a £17m recruitment business, providing not only internal training but external services to clients such as salary benchmarking, psychometric profiling and competency-based referencing.

With the experience that Chris gained in his time as a recruiter and as a Training and Client Services Director he set up ‘The 8020 Training Company’ in 2009, providing recruitment-specific sales and management training to a broad range of clients, one of which was CSG.

Now People & Performance Director at CSG, Chris focuses on ensuring all employees have the right training, tools and environment to perform to the best of their abilities as well as ensuring their continued professional development and progression. Chris also works with the board, senior leadership team and all employees in order to shape a positive culture and promote employee wellbeing throughout all levels of the business.
