  • Brand Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive brand and category strategies that align with the company's vision and business objectives. Drive the evolution and positioning of our brands to enhance market share and build EBIDTA and consumer loyalty.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing brand team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of action, innovation, collaboration, competitive obsession and executional excellence, motivating the team to achieve brand goals and deliver comprehensive strategies and results. This role will also manage the Graphics and Creative Development team.
  • Brand Identity and Messaging: Define and maintain brand identities, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Develop brand guidelines, including positioning, visual and verbal elements, to effectively communicate our brand story, essence, and deliver a unique value proposition.
  • Product Development and Launch: Champion the ideation, development and launch of new products with unique product propositions creating differentiation from competition. Energize and motivate the organization around both near-term priorities and long-term strategies.
  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engage target audiences, and increase consumer acquisition and retention. Develop and manage the brand marketing budget and establish agency partners to help execute brand objectives with a focus on efficient marketing spends. Leverage various channels, including digital, traditional media, social media, and experiential marketing, to deliver impactful brand campaigns.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the executive team, R&D, finance, sales, and operations, to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business goals. Influence and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver brand objectives.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Partner with the Insights team to translate consumer and category insights into actionable strategies to enhance our brand positioning and differentiate us from competitors.
  • Product Portfolio Development & Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between brand strategy and product development. Provide guidance on product portfolio management, including partnering closely with R&D, Finance and Operations on new product launches, line extensions, and product positioning to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.


Minimum Requirements:

  • MBA with an emphasis on Marketing focus
  • 15+ years' experience in industry related category, with majority experience in branded space / with food consumer packaged goods marketing with proven track record of success.
  • Experience within a CPG company and/or a private equity owned company is a plus
  • Experience in development of advertising, new product and media plans, working with sales and trade
  • Responsible for marketing with P&L responsibility
