We are looking for a tech-savvy Technical Sales Manager, OEM to sell complex scientific and technological UV-LED based disinfection products. The Technical Sales Manager's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and closing sales with OEM customers.

The Technical Sales Manager, OEM will possess an in-depth knowledge of our Company's technical products, IP and technology and will explain this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. He/she will be an efficient multi-tasker and confident communicator who is driven to achieve their sales goals. This position is based remotely in the United States with extensive travelling.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products and value proposition to OEM customers
  • Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers
  • Working with the Sales Team and channel partners to understand customer requirements and offer solutions
  • Collaborating with our internal Engineering, R&D and Product Management teams to meet customer deliverables
  • Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries
  • Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas
  • Researching, and developing solutions from company's products offerings to meet customers' technical requirements and needs
  • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
  • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as recommending possible solutions
  • Training other members of the Sales Team on the technical aspects of the company's products, technology, IP, Value proposition and sustainable competitive advantage
  • Helping customers who have problems with installed competitor's products and recommending solutions
  • Stay knowledgeable with industry updates in science and research by continuing to read and study new data
  • Travel is required

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in B2B sales and selling technology products to appliance OEMs (water coolers, ice makers, water fountain etc.)
  • Good project and product management understanding
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and offer solutions
  • Excellent technical, negotiation, social and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and sales skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science
