Super Alloys Key Account Manager - Nickle Based Super Alloys and Value-Added Services
Based: UK / Europe
Area Covered: UK and Europe initially then Potentially North America and India
Role Location: Remote/Hybrid role
Package: E60,000-E80,000, Strong Bonus, Car Allowance
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Super Alloys Key Account Manager - Nickle Based Super Alloys and Value-Added Services to work across the UK and Europe but then with scope to potentially develop into North America, India and potentially other regions.
The company is a forward-thinking organisation that are financially robust and are very well-respected. They are a smaller player in the market which means they have much more flexibility and can take smaller, specialist orders that a lot of the competition can't or won't do. They are also part of a multi-million-pound group that sets the standards within the market with their exceptional and wide-ranging product range and on-time delivery service.
The ideal candidate will have strong Sales, Business Development or Key Account Management expertise in Super Alloys, alternatively they may consider applicants with experience of other types of High Value Metals, failing that they may consider candidates who have experience of selling a slightly similar product into the sectors they sell into which includes the Aerospace Sector, the Industrial Gas Turbine market and into the Medical sector. Lastly, they may also consider candidates who have a Metallurgical background to work across the UK and Europe.
As a Super Alloys Key Account Manager - Nickle Based Super Alloys and Value-Added Services, you will be responsible for developing new business with new clients primarily although there will be a small number of existing accounts and key accounts that you will also oversee. You will be measured on creating the strategic roadmap, getting the brand out into the market and creating new client relationships, leads and pipelines built and then ultimately, the figures you achieve and the profit you make for the company.
This role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company and wider group, so the successful applicant will be an ambitious and forward-thinking individual who is hungry, thrives on a challenge and enjoys making profit for his company.
The ideal candidate must have Sales, Business Development or Key Account Management expertise in Super Alloys, other types of High Value Metals, or have experience of selling a slightly similar product into the Aerospace Sector, the Industrial Gas Turbine market and the Medical sector. Alternatively, you will have a strong Metallurgical background and have worked across the UK and Europe.
The company require applicants who bring strong industry or customer base experience, who are well prepared and well researched, have a good technical sales approach and are factual and not to 'salesy'. They look for candidates who are self-starting, driven, hungry and trustworthy. You must be hard working, very much a 'Hunter' and new business winner, stubborn yet focussed but ultimately, a true professional.

They have a very strong team and a great reputation within the industry.
