Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for driving growth in the data center and telecommunications industry? We are a fast-growing, private-equity-backed owner-operator of premier interconnection properties, managing state-of-the-art data centers across multiple metropolitan markets. We are looking for a results-driven Director of Strategic Accounts to lead our expansion across the Western United States.

About the Role

In this high-impact role, you will drive customer acquisition, build strategic relationships, and manage the full sales cycle for data center services, including Meet Me Rooms and colocation offerings. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our presence in new metropolitan markets and expanding services to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Meet Me Room and colocation products.
  • Build and manage relationships with enterprise clients, network carriers, and cloud service providers.
  • Identify and qualify customer needs for power, connectivity, and space.
  • Present tailored proposals, respond to RFPs, and close deals with C-level decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding for new customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and market insights.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to position our offerings effectively.

Who You Are

We're looking for a dynamic professional with:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales within the data center, colocation, or telecommunications sectors.
  • A strong understanding of Meet Me Room ecosystems, cloud services, and network infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred).
  • A Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to achieving success.
