Based in Mackay, Gladstone or Brisbane

An exciting opportunity for a proven technical salesperson has arisen for one of the world's leading filtration and separation manufacturers who support the global minerals processing industry.

The sales engineer will specifically focus on growing their business with existing minerals customers and developing new business opportunities. Target industries include Alumina, Lithium, Coal and other associated markets. The technology is widely recognised as market leading filtration and separation products which have significant competitive advantages within the wet end of the plant.

This position will take responsibility for the East Coast of Australia; however, the vast majority of customer sites are in Queensland.

The company has an established network of contacts within this territory and has existing customer relationships with all the main players.

Skills & Experience:

• A proven sales background is required.
• Understanding of minerals refining; wet end and chemical processing is highly regarded.
• Strong technical background, ideally within Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy or Process Engineering.
• Candidates with experience of selling rotating equipment (such as pumps or seals) into the mining industry will be considered.
• Develop strong customer relationships and manage long sales cycles.
• Ability and willingness to travel to mine sites.

An ideal background would be product sales experience into the Minerals processing & Refinery industry, providing products such as chemicals, reagents or filtration products to these sites.
