Remediation Project Manager

We are recruiting for a forward-thinking Environmental Project Manager to join our clients team in Long Beach, CA. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in environmental consulting, project management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from start to finish, including proposals, contracting, budgets, schedules, and reporting.
• Oversee environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring programs, and soil/groundwater remediation.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
• Support business development activities by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional registration (P.G. or P.E.) required.
• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience, including fieldwork and office-based activities.
• Familiarity with regulatory agencies and programs, particularly in Southern California.
• Strong knowledge of water quality, environmental regulations, and remediation techniques.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Surfer, and/or ArcGIS is advantageous.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is a plus.
