We're looking for a motivated team member to help keep our production lines running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Set up the production line and ensure all safety guards are in place before starting.
Confirm all materials are available for the day's production and monitor any product or material loss.
Supervise employees on the line, ensuring they follow safety rules, wear proper PPE, and adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Train new employees on line positions and safety procedures, and provide guidance as employees rotate roles.
Communicate any equipment issues to maintenance and any quality or labelling concerns to QA.
Complete required paperwork accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Manage timely changeovers when needed.
Report unsafe conditions or acts to the supervisor immediately.
Ensure food safety and quality standards are followed and escalate issues beyond your control.
Support production of safe, high-quality products.
Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in the food and beverage industry is a must.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and operate different equipment on the production line.
Ability to train and guide others.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
Forklift operation experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Work in a plant environment.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (accommodations available if needed).
Perform tasks that involve stooping, kneeling, reaching, and using hands/wrists for machine adjustments and computer operation.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
