Parts Account Development Manager - DACH - BENELUX
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join our Aftermarket and Product Support department as an Aftermarket Account Development Manager.
The Aftermarket Account Development Manager will drive aftermarket revenue growth. Through close communication with dealers, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the local market, enabling you to initiate targeted aftermarket programs and propose the development of new aftermarket tools to support organizational goals.
You will also support the dealer network in enhancing their aftermarket operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting dealer/customer relationships with a deep understanding of their businesses and requirements.
- Identify and pursue new aftermarket opportunities within the existing customer base, visiting dealerships regularly to discuss aftermarket business strategies and support dealers in strengthening their aftermarket organization.
- Conduct market research, pricing, and competition analysis to identify growth opportunities, develop actionable growth plans, and provide feedback to management on customer needs and market trends.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of aftermarket agreements with dealers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any issues, inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Set strategic short- and long-term goals to elevate the aftermarket department and dealer network and support the development of relevant programs.
- Implement aftermarket business plans with dealers, define yearly targets, and monitor progress closely.
- Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in the aftermarket business within industries such as construction equipment, agriculture, or related fields.
- A bachelor's or master's degree.
- Ability to transition seamlessly between technical and commercial aspects.
- Prior experience with technical products through professional or personal exposure is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust-based relationships across all levels of dealership hierarchies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Results-driven and focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in at least one additional major European language (French, German, or Italian).
- Familiarity with common MS Office tools and adaptability to digital environments.
- Effective communicator, capable of presenting ideas clearly and tailoring reports to the intended audience.
- Willingness to travel across Europe (40-50%).
