Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and develop maintenance technicians to improve team performance and technical expertise.
  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and workplace safety standards.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records, work orders, and inventory management systems.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee contractors and vendors for repairs, upgrades, and service agreements.
  • Monitor and optimize utility systems, including refrigeration, HVAC, and compressed air.
  • Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget to control costs.

What You Will Need

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience leading maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Understanding of OSHA, GMPs, and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 7+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing.
  • Certifications in HVAC, PLCs, or industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
  • Strong background in refrigeration, boilers, and ammonia systems.
