Lead / Principal Underground Surveyor

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced underground surveyor in the role of Lead / Principal; vacancy only available due to internal promotion.

This would be an exceptional opportunity for those interested to take entire ownership of surveying for this operation; and/or those surveyors that may be interested to diversify their career into other underground engineering disciplines or operational leadership. My client is known for being able to realise the aspirations of their incumbent workforce; and subsequently offers a relatively unique pathway for their people.

The role is responsible for other surveyors on the operation, and we are subsequently interested to hear from those with commensurate experience of some man-management in the surveying function on an underground operation in the Americas; at least 6-8 years' experience in the engineering function; tertiary qualified in surveying, geosciences or mining engineering.

This is a residential role working a 5/2 4/3 rotation, and from a relatively large town in the US with many amenities. Subsequently, full relocation is available from any US or Canadian point of hire. Temporary accommodation for you, and your family, is also fully catered for.
