Flight Controls - UAVs
SoCal (Hybrid)
We're working with a leading UAV organisation based in SoCal building Class 3 UAVs. We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Lead to join, this candidate will be pivotal in the development of Flight Controls.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the R&D efforts for UAV Flight Controls systems engineering. You will be managing an integrated cross-functional team of Systems, Software, Electrical and Dynamics & Controls engineers.
- Act as chief engineer in approving technical developments.
- Representing the business with external stakeholders (i.e. trade shows, conventions).
- Leading new technical developments for UAV Flight Controls.
Experience required:
- 10+ years in Aerospace Systems engineering (bonus points for Robotics / Flight Controls)
- 5+ years in a Lead Engineer / management capacity.
- Experience working with the FAA (BVLOS).
- Part 107 License holder desirable.
