We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Operations to lead our production, logistics, and supply chain efforts while supporting our ambitious growth goals.

Position Overview

The Head of Operations will oversee and optimize all aspects of operational performance including manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, logistics, and distribution. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and on schedule to meet customer demand and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in food manufacturing (particularly meat), lean operations, and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership:
  Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals.

• Manufacturing Excellence:
  Oversee production processes ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost control. Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

• Supply Chain Management:
  Manage end-to-end supply chain including raw material sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and vendor relations.

• Food Safety & Quality:
  Ensure all operations comply with USDA, FDA, and other relevant food safety regulations. Partner with QA/QC teams to maintain high standards.

• Logistics & Distribution:
  Optimize cold chain logistics and third-party distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products nationwide.

• Team Development:
  Build and mentor high-performing teams. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.

• Capital Planning & Budgeting:
  Collaborate with finance to develop budgets and forecasts. Manage CapEx projects related to operations, facilities, and equipment.

• Technology & Systems:
  Drive adoption of ERP and operational technology systems to enhance productivity, traceability, and data-driven decision-making.
