Job Description: As the Head of IT Infrastructure, you will lead our global IT infrastructure operations, encompassing Workplace IT, Datacentres, Corporate Networks, IT Security, and our Communications and Application Landscape based on Microsoft 365. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure to support the needs of a diverse, global workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation and strategic technical development of our global IT infrastructure, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
  • Manage and optimise our datacenters and corporate network infrastructure across multiple global locations.
  • Ensure the effective deployment and operation of workplace IT services, supporting a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
  • Lead the IT security initiatives, maintaining alignment with ISO 27001 and SOC/2 standards and adapting to evolving security challenges.
  • Administer our communication systems and application landscape, predominantly based on Microsoft 365, to ensure seamless collaboration and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with global teams to understand local IT needs, respecting the unique environments and cultural nuances of our operations.
  • Manage costs and steer investments effectively
  • Drive the consolidation and transformation processes within the IT infrastructure domain, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior IT infrastructure role, preferably within a global organisation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of datacenter management, corporate networking, and IT security principles.
  • Expertise in managing Microsoft 365 environments and other communication tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with an ability to manage and inspire teams across diverse cultures and technical expertise.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering operational improvements and innovative solutions.
