General Manager: California, Construction Material Testing
Responsibilities:
Evaluate operational and financial performance, managing the financial aspects of projects and the branch.
Drive a high-performance culture mentoring and developing team members, providing technical and managerial guidance.
Actively engaging with clients to enhance the scope and scale of our service offer and develop technical solutions and technical content to support tenders and ongoing projects.
Represent the company positively in various professional settings.
Authorize official documents on behalf of the company.
Oversee contractual obligations and ensure adherence to professional standards.
Build and maintain client relationships, from initial contact to project completion.
Identify and capitalize on promising business ventures.
Create and implement strategies to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
Review and evaluate project performance and staff contributions to make informed decisions.
Efficient and effective execution of all relevant processes and activities, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with overall company policy for relevant area (sales, service, HR, Finance), liaising with relevant global functional leaders
Creating a company culture that inspires customers and employees, promotes improvement and innovation, and offers employees the opportunity to grow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Physical Sciences or equivalent.
15 years experience in project management and leadership roles.
Previous experience managing a P&L.
In-depth knowledge of Construction Material Testing and Environmental Services.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial management and business analysis such as scheduling and cost control techniques.
