Job Summary:
The General Manager will oversee the daily operations and commercial activities of the meat processing facility. This role requires a strong background in both operational management and commercial strategy, ensuring the facility runs efficiently while meeting production goals and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the meat processing facility, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor production schedules and manage resource allocation to meet customer demands.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.
Commercial Management:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers to enhance business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align production capabilities with customer requirements.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of employees across various functions.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in meat processing or food manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of both operational processes and commercial strategies in the meat industry.
