European Product Manager

Are you a dynamic and commercially savvy product specialist with a passion for the material handling industry? We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to collaborate with our dealer network and internal teams across Europe. This role will play a key part in enhancing product expertise, increasing engagement, and driving sales within our Material Handling portfolio.

What does this exciting opportunity involve?

  • Comprehensive Product Support: Serve as a trusted advisor, providing detailed product support to our dealer network and internal stakeholders across Europe.
  • Sales Training & Resources: Develop in-depth product manuals and training materials to build sales capabilities and product knowledge across teams.
  • Training Coordination: Plan and deliver impactful product training sessions for sales representatives and internal colleagues, ensuring consistent expertise.
  • Product Development Insights: Share local market feedback and collaborate with the development team to recommend improvements that align with customer needs.
  • Deal & Tender Assistance: Offer detailed product insights to support dealers during tenders and significant sales negotiations.
  • Marketing Validation: Work closely with the marketing team to verify brochures and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Pricing & Options Guidance: Provide recommendations on machine pricing strategies and offer tailored solutions to meet market demands.
  • Event Engagement: Represent the company at dealer events and trade exhibitions, strengthening relationships and enhancing brand visibility.
  • Product Introductions: Lead the launch of new products, delivering compelling presentations to dealers and stakeholders.

What do we need from you?

  • Technical Expertise: A solid technical background, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent experience, with at least five years in Product Management within the heavy equipment or a related sector.
  • Business Acumen: A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to align product features to market requirements effectively.
  • Proactive Leadership: A self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach and the drive to take ownership of key initiatives.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident and engaging when speaking in front of diverse audiences.
  • Multilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and either French or Italian, with additional European languages being an advantage.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel across Europe, approximately 20-30% of the time, to support dealer visits and participate in industry events.
