Engineering Lead - Grid Code Compliance

CSG Talent are currently partnered with one of the market leaders in the testing, inspection and certification field who are looking to bring on new talent on the team.

As an Engineering Leader, you will lead a team of 9 professionals to ensure operational excellence in evaluating and certifying power generating units, interconnection equipment, and systems. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with grid operators, understanding their evolving needs, and driving necessary changes to maintain our competitive edge.

We are hiring at different levels - from Engineering Lead to Head and Global Head of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of 9 professionals
• Establish and maintain relationships with grid operators
• Understand and respond to evolving regulatory standards
• Manage project workflows and resource allocation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new evaluation programs
• Promote our services to technical and commercial decision-makers
• Ensure timely and accurate project delivery

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry
• The most relevant qualification is being certified in Grid Code Compliance under ISO/IEC 17065
• Lean Sigma Green Belt or Lean Leadership Training
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical understanding of power systems and grid codes
• Experience in project management and client relationship management
• Proficiency in English and German
