Corporate Controller

My client is a very exciting clean tech start up company, based in Boston, looking for a seasoned Corporate Controller to join and support them through going public and beyond.

Bringing with you global experience ,along with public and private, you will report into the Chief Financial Officer, and be responsible for leading and driving the monthly closing process and assisting the CFO with managing overall financial operations of the company.

The successful candidate will provide accurate information, including analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and is responsible for all financial reports. In addition, this position will direct and manage the organization's accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures, preparing financial statements, and reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.

Monthly reporting of course is a huge part of this role and must be carried out with great care and diligence- SEC filings expertise needed to ensure compliance is correct.

Experience gained in a chemical manufacturing environment is a must, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar and an active CPA.

This role is office based, remote and hybrid isn't on offer, however the benefits of working in this financially supported start up in form of base and very attractive shares package, along with the opportunity to progress within the company in future means this is a very attractive opportunity for the right person.

Current CPA membership is none negotiable, and must be already based within the Boston area - also none negotiable for this role.
