Computer Engineer
UAVs - SW/HW/Autopilot
Washington DC - THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE
(DoD eligable)
We have partnered with an exciting UAV manufacturer based outside of DC. Having recently won an exciting project they're looking for a number of experienced engineers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Avionics Integration: Collaborate with HW & SW functions to integrate avionics components (i.e. FCs/ Sensors).
- Design & develop software for avionics systems.
- Develop embedded software for avionic systems including control algorithms & communication protocals.
- Systems Testing and Validation: including SiL & HiL simulations.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or related.
- 5+ years experoemce on Software development for embedded systems / avionics.
- Proficient in C/C++/Python. Experienced working on RTOS / Embedded Linux.
Desirable experience:
- Aerospace certification experience (Do178, Do254) is a nice to have.
- Autopilot experience (PX4, ArduPilot).
- Experience with UAV flight testing.
