We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to drive growth in the rapidly expanding PFAS water treatment sector. This role focuses on developing and securing partnerships and enterprise accounts within the industrial and municipal water treatment markets, with an emphasis on PFAS separation and destruction technologies. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge with strong relationship-building skills and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage prospective partners and enterprise customers across industrial and municipal water treatment sectors in the Central U.S., leveraging networks and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, technical staff, and operational leaders, to influence and close opportunities.
  • Develop deep understanding of PFAS treatment technologies, including adsorption, ion exchange, advanced oxidation, and other separation/destruction methods, to position solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals, quotes, and contracts that deliver sustainable, high-value solutions for customers.
  • Lead customer engagement activities, including presentations, webinars, trade shows, and workshops, to promote PFAS treatment solutions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory drivers, and competitive landscape to bring market insights into commercial strategy.
  • Strategically manage accounts to maximize growth potential, including multi-site or multi-technology opportunities.
  • Use CRM systems to track interactions, forecast demand, and ensure visibility across the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; technical degrees in engineering, environmental science, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience selling industrial or municipal water treatment solutions, ideally including PFAS treatment technologies.
  • Proven track record of developing partnerships and growing strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Familiarity with Central U.S. water/wastewater utilities, industrial water users, and consulting networks highly desirable.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Self-directed, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 40-50% across the Central U.S.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Must be a U.S. Person under applicable export control regulations.
