Business Development Manager

CSG Talent is collaborating with an exciting, well-funded, and rapidly expanding start up located in Massachusetts. They specialise in immunotherapy platforms. This progressive company is dedicated to supporting life sciences, clinical, and academic research.


  • Develop and Maintain target account list of key accounts. Work with senior leadership to prioritise this list.
  • Develop and drive execution strategy of platform adoption pre- and post-product launch.
  • Own relationship management with key accounts and drive collaborative and sales contract negotiations and long-term planning with customers.
  • Partners with Application Development team on customer strategies and development of key marketing / commercial assets like presentations, app notes, and product flyers.
  • Becomes a content expert and thought leader on key products and applications and represents their company at conferences and symposiums. Participates and leads asset generation like app notes and articles.
  • Develop business cases for each customer engagement and organise and measure customer engagements by size of opportunity potential and strategic value.
  • Create sales / customer adoption goals and present our progress in regular commercial review meetings.
  • Work with Product Management, Marketing, and Application Development on product launch strategy - specifically informing the commercial strategy for product launch.


  • BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related. Relevant MS/PhD/MBA a plus.
  • 3-5 year's experience sales, business development, or application or research in academic, pharma, and/or clinical research with a specific focus on neurology.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written.
  • Autonomous, able to make sound business decisions consistently.
  • Strong work ethics, with self-starter mindset.
