Business Development Manager - Brisbane

Join a global leading brand of high-quality building products that is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, who are known for its excellence and innovation. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager for them to strengthen client relationships and drive business growth in the commercial industry in Southern Queensland.

Role Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will manage existing client accounts and actively pursue new business opportunities. This position requires someone who is very solution driven and is good at solving problems while partnering with clients to create the best outcome. This role comes with a succession plan for the right person to develop into a 2IC to the State Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, and architects.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct CPD presentations and product demonstrations
  • Establish strong B2B relationships with architects, engineers, and project managers to support trade team success and projects.
  • Promote the brand by collaborating with trade stores to enhance contractor engagement.
  • Presenting products to the internal teams on knowledge and understanding of products.
  • Maintain and lead ambassador program across retail stores.
  • Conduct technical sessions annually with stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage contracts and project data using CRM platform.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in wining and securing commercial specifications with architects & managing commercial builder relationships
  • Strong coaching and leadership abilities to influence others effectively.
  • Willingness to travel across South Queensland.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and build relationships.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
