Application Engineer
Location: Central Netherlands

I am representing a leading packaging machinery and automation company based in the Netherlands that are seeking an Application Engineer to develop tailored technical solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with the sales team and other departments to design technical solutions for some of the leading food and beverage companies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and calculate tailored technical designs to meet customer requirements.
• Assist the sales team by providing expert technical guidance during customer engagements.
• Partner with R&D, manufacturing, and project teams to bring customer solutions to life.
• Conduct pricing analyses and contribute to post-project assessments.
• Handle multiple projects and priorities while ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• A technical degree in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical or engineering capacity, ideally within the machinery or automation industry.
• Solid understanding of machinery design and/or automation processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytic capabilities.
• A proactive, customer-oriented approach to work.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
