We are now actively recruiting an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to join their business. The organisation is going through an exciting phase of growth and transformation and this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the overall strategy.

As a crucial member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President of Human Resources plays a vital role in providing executive-level guidance and leadership for the organization's HR operations.

The Role

This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices while ensuring legal compliance.

Identify and execute long-term strategic goals related to talent management

Oversee a team of five direct reports, including the HRIS Manager, Plant HR Manager, Benefits & Compensation Manager, Operational Excellence and Training Manager, and Talent Acquisition Manager.

Your Background / Experience

  • 10 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Prior experience in food processing is a plus. Meat processing experience is ideal
  • Deep technical HR expertise in non-union sites
  • Experience overseeing HR teams at a manufacturing site and ability to perform junior or mid-level tasks as needed
  • Experience with M&A due diligence, planning, and execution processes.
  • Experienced leadership and project management, preferably in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a high level of ethical conduct, strategic thinking, and a process-oriented mindset.

Salary Package

  • In return for meeting the above criteria, you can expect a full benefits package including the following:
  • Base Salary approx. $200,000 - $250,000
