Following some recent changes within the business, our client has asked us to recruit a Senior Account Manager - Aerospace and High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Nickle Alloys, Aluminium and Titanium) and Value-Added Services to work across the UK.

The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach and will have a strong Key Account Management, Account Management or Business Development background in either Aerospace and High Value Metals Distribution or Manufacturing companies, alternatively they may consider applicants with experience of selling Value Added Services such as Machining or Cutting, they may also consider candidates with experience of selling other types of High Value Metals or they may look at applicants with experience of selling a similar product such as Forgings, Castings, Components or something else Engineering related into the Aerospace sector across the UK.
As a Senior Account Manager - Aerospace and High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloys, Aluminium and Titanium) and Value-Added Services, you will be measured on the financial figures you achieve (margins and return on investment), how the Major Account you will oversee develops during your stewardship and also how the relationship develops again with you representing the company. Also though, they are looking for someone who can work closely with the team and is very strong when it comes to analysing data as they are very much focussed on making sure that the order book is delivered and that the raw material will be in place, so future projects are taken into consideration.

You will possess a strong Key Account Management, Account Management, Sales or Business Development background in either Aerospace and High Value Metals Distribution or Manufacturing, Value Added Services such as Machining or Cutting, other types of High Value Metals or of a similar product such as Forgings, Castings, Components or something else Engineering related into the Aerospace sector across the UK.
They require a candidate who is confident, can lead a conversation, has a good personality and is engaging. They also need someone who is driven and ambitious, hardworking, can look ahead and consider what the client may need in some cases before they do and can always spot an opportunity. They will look for someone who is forward thinking, can think outside the box, understands margins and revenue streams but who in certain instances, can challenge what has been done before.
