An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Quality Manager for a business that is involved in all areas of Aluminium Extrusions; Fabrication, Finishing and Assembly.

The business is part of a forward-thinking organisation who have a very strong and well-respected brand and are part of a multi-million-pound turnover business. This is a great opportunity to join the organisation as it continues to grow and develop.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Quality Management or a Technical related background ideally with experience in Aluminium Extrusions, Aluminium or Aluminium Products, Value Added Services for example Machining, Light Engineering or Fabrication Services, Heat Exchange or Heat Treatment, or Other Types of Metals or something Engineering related.

As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible initially for a Quality Inspector but then the aim is to grow a team around this person. You will be involved in weekly and monthly review meetings, so this person needs to be very hands on, very visible in the factory and needs a real strength of character. The key focus of the role is to ensure customer satisfaction and to make sure everything goes relatively smoothly but also, they are looking for someone to bring a fresh set of eyes to the business and fresh ideas also.

Also, if you have experience of doing External Audit's it would be very beneficial to your application.

You will have strong Quality Management or a Technical related background in Aluminium Extrusions, Aluminium or Aluminium Products, Value Added Services including Machining, Light Engineering or Fabrication Services, Heat Exchange or Heat Treatment or you will have experience of selling Other Types of Metals or something Engineering related.
