CSG are recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager to be a leader of their own Service Product Portfolio for a top Automation Business in the Semiconductor industry. This company is a leading provider of integrated automation systems, and contamination control solutions enabling chip manufacturers globally.

They are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager who can manage new products, develop business plans, marketing strategy, products positioning, road maps and Go-To-Market plans to grow service revenue at profitable margin.

The purpose of this hire is to develop new services and enhance existing services. This will be achieved through indirect cross-functional business leadership across engineering, quality, field service, operations, other product line manager and sales. The goal is to deliver projects on-time, prioritise investments, identify cost reductions. Also, ensuring business system readiness, compliance from quote-to-invoice and managing the business forecasts are also required.


  • Aligned with the company's strategy, develop and implement the service strategy, including service product roadmaps and full life cycle plans (from design through warranty and after) based on market assessment, customer segmentation, needs analysis, and product capability/gap assessment.
  • Create and maintain a multi-year business plan including a service operations and technology roadmap that ties into the financial plan. Perform competitive and market analysis to identify market segments (OEM tool types, applications, technology nodes wafer sizes, regions, etc.), sizes, market share and trends.
  • Plan for new service product introductions on a global scale, including developing service requirements, identifying target markets/customers, writing MRDs and business cases and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop the customer value proposition and pricing for each service product, training sales and service teams on company's service value and assist with the development of a multi-year product and business plan including growth strategy, pro-forma P&L and supporting financial models.
  • Create and develop all supporting collateral for service offerings, including value propositions, positioning and messaging, internal presentations, training and all customer-facing material.
  • Ensure continuing pipeline of new products to drive revenue growth including warranty support strategy, Post Warranty repair / exchange service offering, field upgrades, and service agreements, aligning with global operations in developing required regional capabilities and optimising inventory investments.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and service teams on the ongoing development of new Service product opportunities and interact with finance, sales, business unit management and operations to ensure forecast accuracy and consistency. Promptly informs senior management of any change in the business or technology environment.
  • Own the customer satisfaction for the services product line and use customer scorecards, direct or indirect feedback, and any available information to improve the offering, its quality, or any aspect of the operational delivery to delight our customers.

To be considered for this Product Marketing Manager position, you are required to have the following skills:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience in product marketing. MBA or similar advanced degree is a preferred.
  • Experience with the Semiconductor manufacturing industry is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Data driven, can analyse raw data, and derive insights for business decisions or recommendations.
  • Self-started, willing to take initiative and able to work with minimum direction. Exhibit leadership skills to shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy, including demonstrating innovative acumen to develop and execute new ideas through collaboration.
  • Able to navigate and embrace change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work and lead within a Global, matrix organisation spanning multiple time zones and across diverse, cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, operations, sales, product management, field service and finance.
